Lava Magazine released a report on compression socks and sleeves worn by Ironman participants at the 2014 Hawaii Ironman World Championship. This championship race combines the three toughest endurance races in Hawai’i—the 2.4-mile Waikiki Roughwater Swim, 112 miles of the Around-O’ahu Bike Race, and the 26.2-mile Honolulu Marathon. Over two thousand athletes from around the world participated in this year's competition on October 11, 2014. Lava reported that over 300 participants were wearing compression products.
